I believe in using visual storytelling to go beyond making a living. In a way, it’s a mission, doing my part to make the world a kinder, happier place. It’s where I’ve arrived at this stage in the journey of my career. I want to share the beauty in the details that people often miss, to help others appreciate the magic every day.
Growing up in New York was a wonderful opportunity to experience extraordinary art and music, life, and the diversity of cultures. A cross-country bicycle trip taught me to appreciate people and the simple things all around us and showed me the vast beauty and diversity that is America. Eight years of living and working in Japan had a profound effect on my outlook and approach to work and life; you can see & feel the wabi-sabi influence in my portraits and industrial images.
Today, with my partner/wife Kaoru, we strive to create a warm, professional, collaborative environment, from creative visual planning throughout the process to completion. We aim to capture the dignity and inner grace of people at work, and at play…authentic images that speak to you and speak for themselves.
We believe in giving back, a meaningful portion of our profits are donated to Doctors Without Borders, Seva (eyesight restoration), and the building of a Shedra learning center for Tibetan nomads, to support that culture’s continuity. Our images have warmth, spirit, and are visually beautiful. We go above and beyond expectations to show your team at their best. We deliver on time and within budget, and have a great time doing it, every step of the way. We are based in Seattle, Washington.
Creating something special can be a mindful and exploratory journey. You’re invited.
