I was born and raised in Toronto – first love was illustration, then music. Sometime in my teens, I got my first skateboarding magazine and was instantly hooked on the photography inside. My mom gave me a crash course on how to use her old Nikon film SLR and a few days later I was shooting my friends flipping and grinding around our high school and surrounding neighborhoods. A four-year stint at Ryerson University introduced me to new techniques in lighting, printmaking, and digital photography. I spent over a decade as a contributor for Canadian skateboarding, surfing, and BMX publications, all while building my repertoire as a commercial photographer. Today I live in the Austin, TX area with my wife and two kids whom I photograph profusely. I’m available for commercial assignments, corporate events, weddings, and whatever else you’ve got. I believe in honesty, accountability, and consistency – that’s how I get the results my clients expect. I’m a straight shooter – ask anyone.
