About

Revolutionizing Product Photography

Pixel Pix was originally founded in 1995 by owner and photographer Robert Fishman as a traditional product photography company. But shortly after it was established, Robert identified a need for a simpler, more economical product photography process—and thus, Pixel Pix’s mail-order product photography business was born.

Robert discovered that his clients saved far more time and money by sending in their products to be photographed on a white background over coordinating the scheduling and booking with a local photographer.

In fact, big brand stores and companies continually opt not to hire a staff photographer or book with a local photographer in favor of mailing their products to Pixel Pix for high-quality, professional product photography.

The Face Behind the Camera

Robert Fishman is a professional still-life photographer with more than 20 years of experience. He received his B.F.A from Syracuse University and has also studied photography at RISD (Rhode Island School of Design).

Today, Robert maintains studios in both New York City and New Jersey, where he specializes in product photography. His work can be seen in editorial publications such as Marie Claire, Good HousekeepingReaders DigestMaxim, and Self. His commercial clients include Tiffany’s, American Express, Macy’s, Anne Klein, Guess, Aerosole Shoes, and Monet Jewelry.

When he isn’t at his studio, Robert can be found traveling, collecting cookie jars, and spending time with his family, friends, and Goldendoodle, Max
