Hi, I am Jennifer I am an RN and a photographer at Portrait Pretty Photography Buffalo, NY. I love photographing people ~ brides to be, moms to be, newborns, children, seniors, and families. I am the preferred photographer to many local professional athletes as well as celebrities who continuously book numerous sessions with me year after year. I am blessed to have this talent and service my clients with a unique high-end experience.
About the Studio: The studio is centrally located in WNY to accommodate people from the Northtowns, Southtowns as well as Downtown quickly and easily. Because we offer a luxury experience it is by appointment only and the address is not published for the safety and security of our little clientele. Upon booking, you will receive directions, a contract as well a prep guide. The studio is 1200 sq ft, offering the ability to have numerous scenes set up and ready to go upon your arrival. The studio is top to bottom all-white to accommodate the clean all-white look that is currently on-trend right now.
Safety: Because I specialize in newborns, I hold CPR/BLS certifications in infants and adults. I am also highly trained in newborn safety posing and refresh my training yearly. You can feel confident that I stay current and up to date on all my shots including the flu shot and I get TB tested yearly as a precaution as I have close contact with the public. The studio is sanitized before and after all sessions. As well, between sessions, I filter the air with an IQ Air medical-grade air cleaner.

Social Media, what to expect: Because the safety and security of our little clients is very important to us, we never ever tag parents on our business pages. I also ask that you do not share from the page as well, as that will create a trail to your page. If you would like to post an image from the session, I ask that you please tag my business page to help you earn your referral credits.
Why Photography? I am always asked, how did you get into photography? It’s always been a part of me since I was very little. One of my favorite toys as a toddler was the ViewMaster I would play with it for hours, when I got a little older I got a Polaroid camera, then when I was around 12 years old I got a Pentax 35mm film camera, I took my first photography class when I was 17 years old. I have always had a creative side, born with the artistic vision and that helps me bring the most amazing heirloom quality images to you. As you can see, I have had a very long time to learn and perfect, photographing people which is why I am able to do a newborn session, photograph and soothe newborns so well, and then the next day has a senior portrait session and poses them so perfectly. As soon as I look through my viewfinder I can see what will appear beautifully and what will not. So you find me fixing and adjusting, constantly as I go, to make that perfect image. That is something you cannot learn overnight, or even in a few years, it takes a lot of time and tons of practice.
Personal Life: Some non-photography-related things about me? I am a Mom, to a little girl who inspires me to work hard and be the best I can be. The family has always been important to me. I am an animal lover, I was the kid who would find a stray dog and bring them home. I love nature, the outdoors. One of my favorite places to relax is at the beach at sunset, you can take a moment, relax and just be. I love the smell after it rains.
Business Background: Besides being creative, I have always had a head for business and I use that experience to help other photographers with theirs. I have received countless awards as well as published in numerous magazines and blogs. My background in business, as well as creativity, has provided me the skills to communicate effectively with my clients; professionally and warmly. I adore meeting other photographers in the industry. When I see a fellow photographer on-location, I always say hi, be nice and friendly to your neighbor – you never know where your next referral is coming from.
Giving Back: Besides all of the above, I have always had a special place in my heart to give back. I have been a group leader volunteer for WhatToExpect.com since 2010, I help moms-to-be answer those questions you are searching for in relation to pregnancy and help search local resources. Besides that, I also am a volunteer photographer for The Gold Hope Project, in which I provide complimentary portrait sessions for pediatric cancer patients and survivors. O.U.R. (Operation Underground Railroad) to combat child trafficking.
I am blessed and honored to have couples choose me to photograph their wedding and parents choose me to photograph their newborn, child, senior, and/or family. I love photographing people and I am so lucky to have this amazing gift that I can share with you.
XOXO Jennifer Lee
